What Is a CMS?
CMS or Content Management Systems is an application that can be logged into via your site eg: www.yoursite.com.au/manager.html you may then add / delete text, images or pages, a bit like how you would when typing in an email application and adding attachments. It will allow you edit every aspect of your site.
The great thing about our CMS is we only charge for labor, so no contracts or monthly fees, and we can add lots of applications like newsletters or secure pages for your customers to view/download privileged content.
When purchasing a CMS please make sure that it is Google friendly, most are not!
Otherwise Google will most likely not be able to find your site at all! So of course we use a SEO friendly CMS.
Some CMS's can be expensive because of the security (logins) and the time needed to set up your database,
we don't charge monthly fees for our CMS we pass the savings on to you.
The best way to judge if you need a CMS is:
- Do you want to have a constantly evolving and dynamic website?
- Do you want fresh content each time your customers visit?
- Do you need secure customer only pages?
- Will you be selling your products online?
- Would you like to store financial details in a database?
- Online Bookings?
- Do you want to keep a current list of employees on your site?
- Workflow not as fluid as you would like, well why don't you store your files online?
- You can setup the main users and assign other, lower roles within the CMS all with different permissions
- Need the ability to have control over your contents style, font, size etc?
